 - 8 ounces cooked ham diced
 - 1 ½ teaspoons salt
 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
 
Instructions

Place lima beans in a large pot; pour in enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil; remove pot from heat, cover, and let stand for 1 hour. Drain and rinse beans.
